This is a quick guide to obtain the Crimson Abyssite of Celerity.


Right now you need Fame 3 in order to activate the quest Whither the Whisker. There is a very fast way to get Fame 3 right now.

Head over to Abyssea - Vunkerl and speak with Deraquien to activate "The Boxwatcher's Behest" quest. Upon question ask for the Heavy Bag or Load. When walking you will walk very slow due to a gravity type effect. Cast Reraise on yourself and quickly run out to the closest mob and die. When you activate the raise you will still be carrying the bag but will no longer have gravity. Run to the outpost and speak with Elmemague to finish the quest. They will give you a letter. From hear you can warp back to #01 and finish the quest. Rinse and repeat this process.

This quest took me 7 times to reach rank 3. Once you reach rank 3 speak with Rahal to activate Whither the Whisker. All you need to do is purchase a Black Whisker from the AH and trade it to Rahal. He will give you the Crimson Abyssite of Celerity granting you a new stone every 16 hours rather than 20. He will also give you your Black Whisker back in which you can go sell on the AH.
